YOUR AGREEMENT WITH BEACHCORPS LLC

        1

BeachCorps Partnership
As stated on the BeachCorps website: “The BeachCorps model is a partnership with great nonprofits
and great private sector partners. Our model ensures everyone does what they do best: the
nonprofit(s) designs a safe and fun project with BeachCorps advice to empower their cause(s); the
excursion provider ensures smooth and safe transportation and other support; and the hotel supports
the project and provides a great hotel experience–and BeachCorps pulls the whole team together.”
To increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and safety of all BeachCorps projects, our volunteer
vacation is carried about three private companies and a local nonprofit cause or causes. The three
private companies are:
1) BeachCorps LLC (herein “BeachCorps”) is a Washington, DC based Limited Liability Company,
receives payments and coordinates with the two local implementation partners in the Dominican
Republic (herein “BeachCorps partners). BeachCorps has provided consultation services and
organizational support to Runners Adventures and the nonprofit cause or causes you are supporting
in your volunteer vacation. Your commercial agreement is with BeachCorps LLC.
2) Runners Adventures is the excursion provider in the Dominican Republic with its principal place
of operations in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic. Luna Tours is a registered Destination
Management Company in the Dominican Republic and the sister company of Runners Adventures.
Runners Adventures provides transportation to and from the volunteer site and other duties not
directly related to the volunteer project. BeachCorps has selected Runners Adventures in part
because of it high favorable reviews on Trip Advisor.
3) BeachCorps SRL is the local company in the Dominican Republic that executes your BeachCorps
trip with personnel hired in the Dominican Republic.
Agreement and Cancellation Agreement
BeachCorps will refund all excursion and BeachCorps payments requested more than 30 days
before your project minus processing fees. Any request made less than 30 days from the project
date will be handled at the sole discretion of BeachCorps. Unless the nonprofit cause has cancelled
the project, your contribution to the nonprofit cause will not be returned. BeachCorps can request
that a nonprofit cause return your donation, but cannot ensure that they will do so. BeachCorps
seeks to provide an outstanding service travel experience and will always issue a refund, at its sole
discretion, when BeachCorps feels that a service travel experience has fallen short of BeachCorps
standards. You understand that all problems with your BeachCorps vacation should be brought to
the attention of a BeachCorps employee. In the unlikely event of a hurricane or other natural
disaster requiring the cancellation of the project, BeachCorps will return to clients all excursion and
2
fee payments made to BeachCorps, while the receiving nonprofit will be able to keep any donations
made with the understanding that they should seek to use available funds for disaster relief, recovery
and development.
Photography and Videos
BeachCorps uses the photography and videos of volunteer projects to empower great causes, and
even provides free photography and videos of projects. By joining a BeachCorps program you
acknowledge that you may appear in photography and video that BeachCorps uses to promote
BeachCorps volunteer vacations and the causes that BeachCorps supports. If you do NOT want to
appear in photos or video, you should email info@beachcorps.com and BeachCorps will make best
efforts, with no guarantees, to avoid having you appear in photos or videos.
Responsibilities
You confirm that you qualify to take the tour given the tour limitations stated for each tour. You also
